This piece was inspired by and written for distinguished musician, Elizabeth Kenwood-Herriott, who has played oboe and cor anglais around the world and has featured several oboe pieces by Tim Knight in her recitals, most recently, 'The Turning Year Suite'. Tim's piece is wistful with an air of melancholy which embodies perfectly the beautiful deep, rich tones of this wonderful instrument. Instrumental part included.
