The original version of this tango nuevo was written for two accordions. The arranger was inspired by the wonderful melody lines - which must be played very passionately. The central movement consists of chords superimposed in layers, which give extra power to the composition. Then the melody returns, ending in a slow, melancholic atmosphere.
