Scott Joplin was undoubtedly the master of ragtime and is today probably the best known of all jazz composers. His catchy rags have been used throughout the world as theme tunes and for television adverts with many being instantly recognisable. This album contains six of his greatest rags including 'The Entertainer, Maple Leaf Rag' and 'The Chrysanthemum'. A separate piano accompaniment book is available for concert performances.
