Mark Jeanbourquin wrote Musicavenir(Music of the Future), on leaving the eponymous music school whose band he had conducted for some years.

For every farewell there’s a new beginning, and this piece opens with ‘Ausblick in die Zukunft’ (Outlook on the Future) an explosive first section in ABA form. This is then followed by a calmer, lyrical passage before Musicavenir finally closes as the powerful opening theme is sounded again.
