Norda Tango (Northern Tango) was inspired during a circus production in 1996. The music, played live by an accordion duo, defined the atmosphere and the action of a virtuoso trapeze artist. In 1997 Foppe Jacobi rewrote Norda Tango for accordion orchestra to be performed at a regional accordion festival.
