Songs by female composers based on texts by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The works selected were those that were created during Goethe‘s lifetime in the late 18th and 19th centuries, here arranged for voice with a chamber orchestra accompaniment. Without interfering with the original composition, the compositional quality and the richness of the piano accompaniment are preserved in the instrumentation.
