Creating a community through music making: that, in short, is the essence of The Sound of Unity. Kevin Houben was commissioned to write this work by the Belgian municipality of Riemst. The music highlights the charm of the town, its sights, its splendid scenery, and much more… But above all the strong community spirit of the inhabitants of Riemst is beautifully expressed. For half of this work, the composer has provided an optional two-part choral passage for mixed choir. Breathtaking!
