The present work 'Pantomime' by Paul Hindemith, now available as a separate edition for the first time, comes from his opera 'Cardillac', performed in 1926 for the first time, a musical setting of the mysterious crime story about the goldsmith of the same name from the novella 'Das Fräulein von Scuderi' by E.T.A.
