After "Hello, Dolly", "Mame" was the second worldwide musical success for Broadway composer Jerry Herman in 1966 - perhaps surpassed only by the later "A Cage of Fools".

From "Mame", for which Herman was awarded a Grammy for Best Musical and another Grammy as composer and lyricist, four titles are incorporated in this lively medley.
