A variety of wooden percussion instruments is needed: marimbas, templeblocks, wood blocks, wood tomtoms, cylindrical wood blocks, claves, castanets, guiros, maracas, rattles, vibraslaps, whips, bamboo tubes. Apart from producing the percussion sound, the player is also asked to recite certain words of the title. This is a complex and interesting piece which requires some skill.
