Description
The 8th string quartet is inaudibly modelled on Antonín Dvořák's Cypresses and consists of four movements: freudvoll (joyfully), unerbittlich (relentlessly), wehmütig (wistfully) and beseelt (soulfully). It was premiered by the StradivariQuartett on 1 May 2024 on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of Dvořák's death.
