The Horn Concerto in D major Hob. VIId:4 is attributed to Joseph Haydn in two copies of the score and in two source catalogues dating from the 18th century. Nevertheless, Haydn's authorship is still not considered as certain today for stylistic reasons, too – contrary to the Horn Concerto in D major Hob. VIId:3.
