Patrick Hawes' dramatic musical settings of nine different passages depicting some of the main scenes in St. John the Divine's prophecy cover a variety of moods and emotions. Construction of the movements ranges from simple, poignant SATB to double choir, depending on the textural material. A tremendous work for advanced choirs.
