The sung text is made from several excerpts of Velimir Khlebnikov’s 1922 poem Ladomir.The noun «Ladomir» is a portmanteau word constructed from Russian nouns lad: concord, harmony, and mir: world. It evokes the utopist ideal of a perfect world, free from social inequities, where man would have learned to make optimal use of his creative potential to improve his life on Earth.
