Description

The “Florentiner Marsch” (Florentine March) is a famous military march composed in 1907 by the Austrian composer Julius Fučík (1872–1916), often referred to as the “Johann Strauss of marches”.

It is one of the best-known and best-loved marches in the international band repertoire, characterized by elegant melodies, a brilliant rhythm and a festive atmosphere , which evoke the style and grace of the city of Florence, from which it takes its name.
