John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, wrote the text for this prayer. Dan Forrest has provided three possible settings: mixed chorus with divisi a cappella, mixed chorus with divisi and string orchestra, or mixed voices with keyboard accompaniment. This is a marvelous piece for a time of commitment during worship or for concert use.
