The piece is inspired by the story of Will (13), a DFW [Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas]-native who faces the difficulty of a rare and severe mitochondrial disease called Leigh’s Syndrome. Despite the difficulty, Will has shown incredible bravery, strength, and resilience.
