Taken mainly from the repertoires of prima donnas associated with Parisian operas, this anthology of twenty-two arias by Bellini, Boieldieu, Isouard, Meyerbeer, Mozart, and Rossini presents cadenzas and melodic variants depicting ornamentation practices in prevailing traditions.
