Fantasy Variations (based on the hymn tune 'Helmsley' and long associated with Advent) is the first of three organ solos written for the festive period. The second, for Christmas, "A Christmas Carillon", is based on the carol "In Dulci Jubilo" and the final one, "Épiphanie", is based on the hymn tune "Dix".
