This book presents 50 traditional fiddle tunes in a variety of styles.

The material includes Irish jigs, reels and hornpipes, Scottish tunes and airs, and tunes from the United States and Canada. Many of the tunes include the melody in standard notation, followed by a variation which includes common ways of playing the tune.

Each of the tunes includes the fiddle melody with guitar accompaniment. Accompanying recordings performed at medium-slow tempos assist in learning and practicing.
