Though he wrote many successful symphonies and concertos, it was as a teacher that he found most successand his most enduring work is his 180 Studies for Cello, Violoncellschules, which are still used today. This set is from the latter part of his studies and are suitable for advanced players, or as exercises for skilledcellists.
