Sweet Caroline is a song by American singer Neil Diamond. The song was first released on single in the US and Canada on 28 May 1969. In a 2007 interview, Neil Diamond said that he was inspired to write the song by Caroline Kennedy, John F. Kennedy’s daughter, who was eight years old at the time. He sang the song for her on her 50th birthday. Frank Bernaerts made an arrangement for concert band, fanfare and brass band.
