The fourth and final volume in Series II, the present volume gathers twenty-six mélodies composed by Debussy between 1892 and 1915, two of which, the Nuits Blanches, were not published in his lifetime. It also includes the six Ariettes published in 1888, which were reissued in a second, revised edition in 1903 with the title Ariettes oubliées.
