Douglas Coombes' Simply A Rag, for Descant Recorder and Piano, contains original pieces in a wide variety of styles - from Simply A Rag and Little Jazz Waltz to the bouyant,sprightly Staccato Polka’ and the loose quality of Impressions of an Enchanted Forest, there is much here to enjoy.

The Piano accompaniments arestraightforward and there is plenty of opportunity to add extra depth and interest.
