Echoes of San Marco
is the winner of the 30th Edition of the International Composition Competition in Corciano Italy. It is based on one of Giovanni Gabrieli’s canzones for two four-part brass choirs, which Johan de Meij cleverly echoes throughout the entire ensemble. Ideal for a concert in a church, or a hall with rich acoustics!
