Klezmer is actually a hodgepodge of different musical styles, including Balkan sounds, oriental influences and "gypsy music". At the end of the last century, the Klezmer experienced a true revival worldwide and is now extremely popular.

For this varied orchestral work Jan de Haan composed a series of his own melodies in Klezmer style.
