On the one hand, Manuel de Falla's Homenaje a Debussy is a tribute to his late friend Claude Debussy. On the other hand, we owe the composer's only guitar work to his friendship with the guitarist Miguel Llobet. It is Llobet's version that has become known in the guitar world.
