Composed on the occasion of the 2015 World Saxophone Congress in Strasbourg (France), these two duets pay homage to two members of the Selmer family: Patrick and Brigitte.

Both pieces are exclusively based on a musical cryptogram of the name SELMER (after both the syllabic and alphabetical notation systems): S=si=B, E, L=la=A, M=mi=E, E, R=ré=D.

Each piece develops its own particular character and soundscape.
