We present in this volume of the collection "Vocal Music" the critical edition of the twelve Cantadas humanas a solo / Cantate da camera a voce sola by Emanuele Rincón de Astorga (1680-1757), published by the Imprenta de Música of Lisbon in 1726. A peculiarity of this collection it's his bilingualism: the works have both lyrics in Spanish and in Italian. As it is read in the "prologo", the purpose of Rincón de Astorga was to reconcile the styles of chamber music of Spain and Italy.
