Raoul Barthalay brings us the music of Louis-Claude Daquin in this arrangement for three oboes or three flutes.

The composer, a contemporary of Rameau, wrote many Christmas pieces for organ. There is only one step from organ stops to wind instruments, and Raoul Barthalay has taken it with great skill.

These four pastorales are dedicated to Roger Page, oboist and professor at the Lyon Conservatoire.
