Busonis juvenilia are proving to be a real treasure trove, even when they are not necessarily first editions. Composed in Helsinki in 1890 and published shortly thereafter, the Kultaselle Variations were long considered as a special tip among Busoni insiders. Printed in 1883, the Serenata Op. 34 was based on a work of the same name for clarinet and piano.
