Anton Bruckner's Te Deum - a highlight in the composer's oeuvre and one of the most important works of sacred choir literature of the 19th century - is reopened here in a modern scientific edition. The Carus Edition carefully considers the two sources, score autograph and first edition, which can be regarded as decisive. In this way, a musical text is offered that can claim the greatest possible proximity to the composer's intention.
