Description
Benjamin Britten's Spring Symphony and was composed to represent, as stated by the composer himself 'the progress of Winter to Spring and the reawakening of the earth and life'. It was first premiered in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam in 1949 as part of the Holland Festival.
