Born in 2015, the Zahir Quartet has the will to develop the genre of the quartet. Whether by performing the original repertoire or transcribing chamber music for their training, the four saxophonists of the Zahir Quartet show us their curiosity and creativity.

It is with the Quartet n ° 2 of A. Borodin that we are inaugurating this collection. This work, dedicated to his wife, already presents the oriental accents that we will find later in his opera The Prince Igor.
