Description

The present Mass, originally for STB and organ, was made accessible to three mixed voices (SABar) through a sensitive and prudent arrangement of today's choir practice. The work is characterised by a rigour that was rather untypical for the time and yet does not dispense with charming romantic sound constellations.

The romanticism of French sacred music - here, it becomes perceptible at its beginnings in an impressive way.
