Description
This Latin classic by Jorge Ben was arranged very rhythmically by Naohiro Iwai to transfer the Latin American feeling to the orchestra.
"Mas que nada" means "Oh, what the hell" in Portuguese and was composed in 1963 by Jorge Ben. In the United States, the title is attributed above all to Sérgio Mendes, whose best-known piece it is. Jorge Ben is rather unknown there, but a superstar in Brazil.
