This edition of the C-Minor Suite BWV 997 from J. S. Bach results from many requests from flautists who have been looking for an edition of the work which enables them to adequately present the Fugue and the Double in performance. The editor has used this opportunity to free the accompaniment of all unnecessary extras, with particular reference to fact that the accompaniment - with the exception of the Fugue - is originally a simple figured bass.
