This is a revised edition from 1964 which was edited by Diethard Hellman. It is a reconstruction of the St. Mark Passion of 731 based on parody models, with a new foreword by Andreas Glöckner on the current state of research with regard to this work. The edition now includes all 16 chorales which have survived and these are included as facsimiles in a libretto attached to the edition.
