Charles Aznavour, born in Paris in 1924 as the son of Armenian immigrants, became one of the greatest chansonniers in France in the 20th century. He has enjoyed great success as a song writer, performer and film actor. The typically French atmosphere that Charles Aznavour incorporated into his music can also be clearly felt in this arrangement for concert band.
