Sheet music by Michael Forster


Michael Forster was born in 1977 in Bayreuth. He is married and has two daughters. Since October 2018 he has been Professor for Elementary Music Pedagogy at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg.
Michael Forster began his musical education at the Vocational School for Music Sulzbach-Rosenberg (1994-1996). He then studied Catholic Church Music at the Meistersinger Conservatory of the City of Nuremberg (1996-2001) and Elementary Music Pedagogy with Prof. Vroni Priesner at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg (2001-2005). There followed a two-year postgraduate course in music education (2005-2007). He also completed the university course "Elementary Music and Movement Pedagogy" (2008-2009) at the Orff Institute, University Mozarteum Salzburg.
In the context of the initiatives MUBIKIN and Growing with Music, he leads together with Doris Hamann the advanced training series for educators. Since October 2014 he has been the course leader of the certification course Musicagogy of the Association of Bavarian Singing and Music Schools. He is also a lecturer for advanced and further training courses for the Fränkischer Sängerbund, the Tonkünstlerverband and the Orff-Schulwerk-Gesellschaft.
