Liz Partridge was educated musically as a junior at the Royal Academy of Music and then went on a scholarship to study violin and piano at Trinity College of Music. Jobs at the BBC and at ENO followed, and her subsequent position was as a sub - principal first violin at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. Subsequently, a freelance career gave her access not only to concert halls around the world, but also studios and west end theatres in London, working again with the best in their fields in jazz and show music, as well as the classical genre. Teaching has always featured in her portfolio and she coaches both children and adults, which informs her work for Trinity as an examiner, for whom still travels widely.
