The new work for solo piano, by composer Barbara Arens, continues down the path of her previous work, Rendezvous with Midnight being inspired by poetry, but goes a step further. Her new collection, of 12+1 songs for solo piano, can also be sung, if one wishes, or be played as solo works. Inspired by poetry by women composers this is a wonderfully romantic score to own and cherish.
