In Greek mythology, the Phoenix is the son of the sun. He symbolizes immortality, renewal and life after death.Spanish composer Teo Aparicio Barberán created an epic musical journey that starts with Lacerated Heart, The Man I Want to Be, and ends with New Times. The Phoenix also represents the present and future of one of the oldest orchestras in Valencia, Spain, Banda de Música de Enguera. Barberán dedicates The Rise of the Phoenix to his wife, Sara.
