I composed this piano piece for my friend Karl, who died much too young. He worked very hard and he was always there for his patients. He was too good for this world, so good that he forgot to take care of himself. His nonchalant attitude made him extra charming. Suddenly, he lost the control over his life and then he died. I close him forever in my heart. I will miss him, I will miss his smile and I will miss his enthusiasm…
