This suite of five miniatures for B flat trumpet or cornet and piano provides the young trumpeter with a variety of entertaining pieces that remain true to the spirit of early and classic jazz . The suite comprises a rag, a blues, a stomp with a Latin flavour, a slow and sentimental ballad and a final dash in quick march time.
