Boomtastic is a fantastic, fun and fresh work for (young) band and boomwhackers. The simple orchestration makes it possible to perform this piece with a limited ensemble as well as with a youth band. All eyes are on the boomwhackers. They begin with a simple melody in a slow tempo, but are soon challenged with more difficult rhythms. In the final variation, the tempo is also increased. What speed can you handle? Boomtastic is a great work to highlight the boomwhackers.
The conductor gets a general overview of the boomwhacker part via the "Global Melody" line at the top of the score. For the boomwhacker players, this "Global Melody" part is printed on the back of the boomwhacker part.
