Jaroslav Zeman studied in Prague and conducted a number of the best military orchestras in what was then Czechoslovakia. Most recently he was director of the military music conservatory in Raudnitz an der Elbe. Jaroslav Zeman is now retired and has since then turned increasingly to composition and arrangement.
