Description
During his second American tour (1938) Paul Hindemith wrote numerous songs for musical amateurs, including traditional children's songs for American schoolbooks, amongst others. The songs provided with individual titles by Hindemith were published for the first time in 2009 under the working title of 9 Short Songs for American School Songbooks in the Hindemith Complete Edition (PHA 803).
