, a Polka, and Marieta, a Mazurka are presented here as a pair of short but challenging pieces for the solo classical guitar. Castellon-born composer Francisco Terrega was a highly important figure in therevival of the guitar as a solo instrument at the start of the 20th century, and these two dances form part of nearly 100 original works for the instrument.
