This piece was written for The South Derbyshire Music Centre. It is intended as a light-hearted piece akin to Peter and the Wolf but with more comedy emanating from the band! The piece features a narrator, who could be dressed as Father Christmas or something similar. Opportunity has been provided to change the name of the village, the conductor and even the instruments to suit the performance context.
